Heffy & Marmite's Blog

When Richard and Karen left me with Tracy whilst they went off on the Trans Americas Expedition with Tracy's husband, Paul, they asked me to keep a record of my experiences. So this is it. My Blog. Hope you like it. Heffy xx (Marmite takes over end of July)

Four weeks and still up to no good.

A month has past; you'd probably thought we'd left the building? Well we're still firmly seated at home, causing chaos and without a shadow of doubt driving Tracy completely mad, if that's possible!!

We've had our last course of dreaded needles although for some weird reason Titch never feels a thing, I'm sure I get her dose too...We've both been adorned with collars with a bell on, drove us both nuts the first day and we did our utmost to get the darned things off, failing miserably and only ending up with me getting my lower jaw trapped in it and Titch somehow entangled in the laundry basket.. I'm sure she does it just for attention....

By day three the bells were removed, Tracy thinking it would be great as she would know where we were to the point of her literally hearing ringing in her ears 24/7. We have them back now, as we are too crafty and have somehow managed to find hiding places that both Tracy and Carlie have yet to discover, although I imagine it won't be long...

There is still the continual ringing in our ears too of that damn word... NO, every minute we hear it, but do people not realise we are in our moment of discovery? Curtains, wallpaper, laundry, bins, it's all an Aladdin’s cave and to us just so exciting... To be fare though, we were rather naughty the other day, well I say we, it was me but I let Titch take the blame for a while.... Tracy had thought it would be nice to have a rug in the dining room, with winter approaching what better way than to have an open fire going with us curled up on the rug while the fire crackled away. Unfortunately, to me it felt similar to the cat litter so I dutily had a pee on it; no one will know I thought.... God was I wrong, how was I to know that Tracy and Carlie would walk across it to see 'what it felt like'..... Bloody wet I can tell you and in a flash we were gone, as is the rug!!!

Katie has now moved house so we had her kitten for the weekend, still funny looking but Carlie and her friends showered her with affection and we just moped about eager for a hug, which of course we eventually got..... She’s clearly not ready for any rough and tumble yet and god can she growl, for something so small she makes one hell of a noise....

Me, well, I’m still struggling to get this meow thing sorted, Tracy reckons I sound like I’ve got a bad throat, but it just won’t come out as much as I try.... Both Titch and I are now very different, she’s the explorer, the daredevil and always up to no good and starts all the fights. Me, I’m a lot more cautious, scared of my own shadow and very laid back and forever being attacked by Titch... We both love our cuddles though and we clamber for attention with whoever is around, going to be hard in a few weeks with just Tracy at home, one leg each I reckon.........

No Pics guys, laptop went bananas and now unable to load them.....
